As the Academy of Management Annual Meeting approaches, we are pleased to share this year's message from the Chair of the Management History Division:

In his concluding message as Division Chair, Matteo Cristofaro reflects on a year-and a broader leadership journey-defined by service, transparency, and sustained commitment to the Management History community.
The message highlights the Division's growth across several areas: eight international events and workshops; an expanded Annual Meeting program; a new mentorship initiative; approximately $8,500 in travel grants awarded to scholars from twelve countries; the creation of a global ambassador network, volunteer team, and Resource Repository; and new initiatives involving doctoral students and scholarly communities in Latin America, India, and North Macedonia.
It also documents the Division's increased visibility through a new logo, a redesigned website, and substantial growth on LinkedIn, where the community expanded from approximately 200 to 3,000 followers. Alongside these developments, the Division strengthened its governance through transparent elections, conflict-of-interest procedures, archived Executive Committee records, and sound financial management.
More importantly, the message emphasizes that these achievements belong to the entire Division: its members, Executive Committee, mentors, reviewers, ambassadors, volunteers, and scholars who contributed their time and ideas.
As Matteo transitions to the role of Past Chair, he welcomes Diego Coraiola as incoming Chair and congratulates newly elected officers Nicholous Deal and Regina Greenwood. His final reflection captures the principle that guided his leadership:
"A Division is not led. It is kept."
