    Dear Management History Enthusiasts,

    The Management History (MH) Division is excited to launch a two-step Virtual Paper Development series to help you evolve promising ideas into strong manuscripts for upcoming MH submissions to the next AoM Conference 2026.

    1) Idea Paper Development Workshop - Friday, November 7, 2025

    Why attend? This first session focuses on sharpening your core idea-positioning, research question, theoretical contribution, and fit with MH.

    What you'll get

    • Concrete guidance on scoping a compelling idea
    • Insights from MH Division Executives on aligning with the division's scope and expectations
    • Practical tips on how to turn an idea into a viable study or conceptual piece

    When & where

    • Date: Friday, November 7, 2025
    • Time: 15:00 CET 
    • Location: Online (link provided after registration)

    What to submit (lightweight)

    • one page idea deck (motivation, RQ(s), theoretical anchor(s), method/design or contribution pathway, and fit with MH)
    • Deadline: Monday, November 3, 2025 (end of day in your time zone)

    2) Full Paper Development Workshop - Friday, December 12, 2025

    Building on the November session, this workshop helps you shape a more complete manuscript package.

    What you'll get

    • Developmental feedback on framing, structure, and contribution
    • Guidance on positioning for target outlets and conferences
    • Practical advice on argument flow, evidence, and reviewer expectations

    When & where

    • Date: Friday, December 12, 2025
    • Time: 15:00 CET 
    • Location: Online (link provided after registration)

    What to submit (slightly heavier)

    • A 6 slide deck including theory, methods, results, and implications
    • Deadline: Monday, December 8, 2025 (end of day in your time zone)

    Notes

    • You're welcome to join either session, but attending both creates a smooth idea → paper trajectory.
    • Prior participation in the November session is not required for December (priority may be given to November participants if demand exceeds capacity).
