The Management History Division - Academy of Management invites you to their first joint MHD–ENT online workshop.
This event aims to advance scholarly understanding of how historical perspectives and methods can be productively integrated into entrepreneurship research. It will clarify how historically grounded inquiry enables the formulation of novel research questions, supports robust theory development, and enhances the explanatory depth of entrepreneurship scholarship.
The session will move beyond general advocacy for interdisciplinary and instead provide concrete guidance on:
➡️ Designing historically informed entrepreneurship studies
➡️ Executing research with methodological rigor
➡️ Positioning intersectional work for high-quality publication
➡️ Building theoretical contributions that bridge history and entrepreneurship
