Today we discuss how historical perspectives and methods can be productively integrated into entrepreneurship research. We will clarify how historically grounded inquiry enables the formulation of novel research questions, supports robust theory development, and enhances the explanatory depth of entrepreneurship scholarship.

We will move beyond general advocacy for interdisciplinary to provide concrete guidance on:

➡️ Designing historically informed entrepreneurship studies

➡️ Executing research with methodological rigor

➡️ Positioning intersectional work for high-quality publication

➡️ Building theoretical contributions that bridge history and entrepreneurship
