Every year, following Academy of Management best practices, the Management History Division recognizes scholars who are shaping the field through impactful research, leadership, and community-building.
Nominations are now open for the following awards:
🏆 𝗥𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗱 𝗚. 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝘄𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱
Honors scholars who have made substantive contributions to management history-through research, leadership/service, stewardship/mentorship, and/or archival development.
🌱 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱
Recognizes and supports exceptional early-career scholars in management history, celebrating research excellence and scholarly impact (typically within 10 years of the PhD).
🗣️ 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱
Honors scholars who champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in management history through scholarship, inclusive teaching/mentorship, and service that promotes diverse voices.
📚 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗔. 𝗪𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱
Recognizes outstanding research quality in management history-focused on the nominee's scholarly contribution (e.g., publications/impact); service and teaching are not considered for this award.
